Panini Euro 1988 West Germany Sticker Collection Checklist
The Panini UEFA Euro West Germany 1988 sticker collection brings back the tournament that Marco van Basten and the Netherlands made famous, with a 267-sticker checklist (plus the 220u variant). The album opens with the Berni mascot, the official poster and the tournament emblem. It then has a History section covering the European Championship winners from 1960 to 1984, and the eight West German host cities and stadiums, including Munich, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Gelsenkirchen, Hamburg, Hannover, Cologne and Stuttgart. Each of the eight finalists has its own section of 27 stickers: West Germany, Italy, Denmark, Spain, England, the Republic of Ireland, the Netherlands and the USSR. These include four team photo stickers, a Berni mascot sticker, an emblem and the full squad.
The checklist is a showcase of 1980s stars. It features Marco van Basten, Ruud Gullit, Frank Rijkaard, Ronald Koeman, Franz Beckenbauer, Lothar Matthäus, Rudi Völler, Gary Lineker, Bryan Robson, Michael Laudrup, Emilio Butragueño, Paolo Maldini and Gianluca Vialli. A closing section of referees, including Michel Vautrot and Paolo Casarin, rounds out the album. Use the full checklist to track your collection, find the stickers you still need and plan your swaps with other collectors.
