Panini 1986 World Cup Mexico Stickers Checklist
The Panini FIFA World Cup Mexico 1986 sticker collection relives the tournament made famous by Diego Maradona, with a 427-sticker checklist. The album opens with the World Cup trophy, the emblem and the mascot, followed by 12 posters from every World Cup since 1930. It then covers 20 stickers of Mexican cities and stadiums, including the Azteca, Jalisco, Irapuato, León, Monterrey, Puebla, Querétaro and Toluca. The 24 finalists each have a section with a badge, a team photo and the players. Italy, Argentina, Brazil, France, West Germany, England, Spain, Mexico, Belgium, Denmark, the USSR and Scotland are all there, along with Canada, Iraq, South Korea, Algeria and Morocco.
The checklist features the stars of the mid-1980s. These include Diego Maradona, Jorge Valdano and Jorge Burruchaga of Argentina, Michel Platini and Alain Giresse of France, and Gary Lineker and Peter Shilton of England. Zico, Sócrates and Careca of Brazil, Michael Laudrup and Preben Elkjær of Denmark, Emilio Butragueño of Spain, Enzo Francescoli of Uruguay, Hugo Sánchez of Mexico and Rinat Dasaev of the USSR also appear. Use the full checklist to track your collection, find the stickers you still need and plan your swaps with other collectors.
