Panini 1970 World Cup Mexico Stickers Checklist
The Panini FIFA World Cup Mexico 1970 sticker collection looks back at one of football’s most famous tournaments, with a 288-sticker checklist. The album opens with the Rimet Cup, the FIFA emblem, a map of Mexico, the mascot Juanito and the official poster. It then recalls every earlier World Cup, from Uruguay 1930 to England 1966, with a poster, the winners and the stars of each tournament. All 16 finalists then get their own sections of 14 or 17 stickers, with a flag, an emblem, a team photo and the squad. They include Brazil, Italy, West Germany, England, Uruguay, Mexico, the USSR, Peru, Morocco and Israel.
The checklist is a gallery of football’s greatest names. It features Pelé, Jairzinho, Rivelino, Carlos Alberto, Tostão and Gérson of Brazil, and Franz Beckenbauer, Gerd Müller and Uwe Seeler of West Germany. Gianni Rivera, Luigi Riva, Giacinto Facchetti and Dino Zoff of Italy, and Bobby Moore, Bobby Charlton, Gordon Banks and Geoff Hurst of England also appear, alongside Teófilo Cubillas of Peru and Lev Yashin-era Soviet stars. Use the full checklist to track your collection, find the stickers you still need and plan your swaps with other collectors.
